Sound Meditation

Abby Lee of Qigong Melbourne

December New Moon Sound Meditation

7 December 2018 (Friday)

at Abbotsford Convent

New moon is a wonderful time to be still and contemplate on the desires of your heart and yearnings of your soul. It’s a time to plant new seeds or replenish the soil of the garden of your dreams and goals.

Join us for a mini New Moon ritual, group vocal toning, gentle movement to prepare the body, followed by a deeply relaxing and nurturing sound meditation. In this deep peaceful state you can let your intentions be gently impressed upon your sub-conscious mind, to be followed by your conscious actions. Together, your dreams and goals can be supercharged.

Imagine letting the soothing and healing sound of crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, Tibetan gong, melodic chimes, Burmese pagoda bells, medicine drums and more take you on a journey of deep relaxation and rejuvenation. Allow the vibration of these harmonious sounds wash through your body and mind to help release any tensions or blockages, restore your balance and harmony, renew your vitality and serenity. Walk lightly away after the session feeling relaxed, re-centered and re-energised.

This is what John said about his experience of our New Moon Sound Meditation:

“Each sound resonated within a different part of my body. It’s hard to explain, it was like a burst of water out of a shower head aimed at different parts of the body and vibrating into each chakra and the three dantians (for tai-chi practitioners)……. The sounds kept my mind focused and was aware of every feeling going through my body. I finished feeling peaceful, a feeling that stayed with me for a few days after. Thank you Abby, great experience.” – John Vardis
